The Network Field Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the network and communication infrastructure across Whish Money branches and head offices throughout Lebanon. This role ensures that all locations operate with reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity to support business operations, digital services, and organizational growth.
Network Installation & Configuration
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and other network equipment across all Whish Money branches and head offices in Lebanon
• Perform network expansions, upgrades, and structured cabling tasks
• Document all installations, configurations, and network changes accurately
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
• Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and performance problems
• Provide on-site support for critical incidents
• Coordinate with ISPs to address external connectivity or line issues
Monitoring & Preventive Maintenance
• Conduct routine network health checks and preventive maintenance
• Monitor network performance and implement optimization measures
• Ensure all sites comply with network security standards and best practices
Network Security & Compliance
• Implement and manage network security policies including firewall rules, VLAN segmentation, VPN configurations, and access control
• Review network security posture and recommend improvements
• Ensure secure connectivity for internal systems and digital services
Coordination & Collaboration
• Work with IT Support, Systems, Operations, and other departments
• Support deployment of new digital solutions and infrastructure upgrades
• Provide technical guidance to branch employees
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain updated records of network assets, topology diagrams, and configurations
• Prepare periodic reports on network health and incidents
• Track field visits and maintenance activities
