The Senior Process Optimization Officer is responsible for reviewing, optimizing, standardizing, and continuously improving financial processes to ensure efficiency, strong internal controls, and compliance with governance and audit requirements.
What You'll Do
Analyze and document financial processes (AS IS / TO BE)
Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and process risks
Identify and suggest process optimization and automation initiatives
Design and enhance financial controls aligned with governance standards
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders on process improvements while mitigating financial and operational risks
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following: Finance and/or Accounting
Minimum 5 years’ experience in: Financial Control, Accounting Operations, Internal Control, Finance related Process Improvement roles
Strong understanding of end to end financial processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury)
Ability to document, analyze, and optimize processes in a structured manner
Solid knowledge of internal control concepts and reconciliation processes
Ability to balance process efficiency with control effectiveness
Nice To Have
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CIA)
Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI)
Experience in regulated environments (financial services, fintech, banking)
Technical Skills
Financial process mapping (AS IS / TO BE)
Identification of processes gaps, inefficiencies, and risks
Internal control design and gap assessment
Experience with D365 Business Central ERP system
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
SOP documentation and process flow documentation
Definition of process KPIs and performance metrics
