We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – Purchasing to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of purchase-related accounting activities, supporting monthly closing processes, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring financial transactions, improving processes, and supporting multi-entity operations.

• Review and validate all purchase entries, shipments and journal vouchers prepared by the team
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documents for all financial entries
• Perform detailed reviews of daily journal entries and Statement of Accounts (SOA) reconciliations
• Perform detailed reviews of sales reports prepared by the team
• Conduct stock reviews and confirmation.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly closing activities
• Contact and coordinate with vendors regarding payments invoices and all other requests
• Identify discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders for corrections
• Develop and maintain reports and tracking tools for effective stock & price monitoring
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3 years and above of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices and regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory)
• Experience in reconciliations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Effective communication and coordination skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems beyond Business Central
• Process improvement or internal audit experience
• Experience in Power BI
