Senior Cost & Gross Control Specialist

The Cost & Gross Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and validating cost structures and gross margins across products and services. The role ensures accuracy, transparency, and control over cost allocation and revenue streams, supporting management in decision-making and profitability optimization.
What You'll Do
Monitor and validate cost of services and products across all business lines
Analyze gross margins and investigate variances against budgets and forecasts
Ensure proper cost allocation and classification in line with accounting policies
Reconcile cost and revenue data between systems (e.g., operational vs accounting systems)
Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments for corrections
Support monthly closing activities related to cost and gross margin reporting
Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management review
Participate in process improvements to enhance cost control and reporting accuracy
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
4–7 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or accounting
Strong understanding of cost structures, margins, and financial reporting
Experience in reconciliation and multi-system environments
High attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong communication and coordination skills
Nice To Have
Experience in fintech, telecom, or high-volume transaction environments
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (BC) or similar
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience in process optimization or internal control frameworks
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling)
ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar)
Data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI or equivalent)
Strong understanding of accounting systems and reconciliation tools
Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
