The Regulatory Reporting Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all regulatory reports submitted to external authorities. The role focuses on validating financial and operational data, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and strengthening controls around regulatory reporting processes.
What You'll Do
Prepare, review, and validate regulatory reports in line with local and international requirements
Ensure timely submission of reports to regulators (e.g., central bank, tax authorities, etc.)
Reconcile regulatory reports with accounting records and internal systems
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on reporting
Coordinate with internal departments to gather required data and ensure consistency
Identify and resolve discrepancies or data gaps in reported figures
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all regulatory submissions
Support internal and external audits related to regulatory reporting
Enhance processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
4–7 years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or audit
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial statements
Experience dealing with regulators or external auditors
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Nice To Have
Experience in process automation and regulatory technology (RegTech)
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel (data validation, reconciliation, reporting)
ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar)
Reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Strong understanding of financial reporting systems and data flows
Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
